This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, amphibian, mouse based on sequence homology.
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is liver carcinoma.
CAS (cellular apoptosis susceptibility contains 971 amino acids with 59% overall sequence homology as compared to yeast chromosome segregation homolog, CSE1. CAS is highly expressed in testis and fetal liver. CAS expression in human fibroblasts increases as cells are induced to proliferate and decreases in growth arrested cells.
