CCDC36 Antibody (PA5-114403) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CCDC36 in SiHa cells. Antigen retrieval was performed with enzyme antigen retrieval (15 min). Samples were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated in CCDC36 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114403) at a dilution of 2 µg/mL (overnight, 4°C), followed by DyLight 488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (30 min, 37°C) and DAPI at a dilution of 1:100.

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human placenta tissue, human HL-60 whole cell. IHC: human testis cancer tissue, human melanoma tissue. ICC/IF: SiHa cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
Required for DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) formation in unsynapsed regions during meiotic recombination. Probably acts by forming a complex with MEI4 and REC114, which activates DSBs formation in unsynapsed regions, an essential step to ensure completion of synapsis. Not required for HORMAD1 functions in pairing-independent synaptonemal complex formation, ATR recruitment to unsynapsed axes, meiotic silencing of unsynapsed chromatin (MSUC) or meiotic surveillance.
