CCDC6 Antibody (A302-097A) in IP
Detection of human CCDC6 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CCDC6 antibody (Product # A302-097A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. CCDC6 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-CCDC6 antibody A302-096A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated CCDC6, A302-096A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Target Information
This gene encodes a coiled-coil domain-containing protein. The encoded protein is ubiquitously expressed and may function as a tumor suppressor. A chromosomal rearrangement resulting in the expression of a fusion gene containing a portion of this gene and the intracellular kinase-encoding domain of the ret proto-oncogene is the cause of thyroid papillary carcinoma.
