CD105 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded mouse heart tissue using a CD105 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-12511), followed by HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining.

(A) On day 2 after seeding the cells, clusters had formed but were no more than 50 mum in diameter. (B) On day 7, many clusters had formed with a diameter of approximately 100 mum. Target Information

CD105 or Endoglin is a Type I transmembrane protein, which is highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It exists on an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Up regulation of endoglin expression has been demonstrated in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, suggesting that it is a proliferation associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds to TGF beta 1 and 3 with high affinity but not to TGF beta 2.
