CD137 Antibody (PA5-47967) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of CD137 in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse spleen. Samples were incubated in CD137 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47967) using a dilution of 1.7 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell surfaces.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat 4-1BB/TNFRSF9 is observed. In Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human 4-1BB and recombinant mouse EDAR is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
CD137, also known as TNFRSF9 or 4-1BB, is an inducible costimulatory molecule expressed mainly on activated T cells. Its ligand, known as 4-1BBL, is expressed on activated macrophages, mature B cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and myeloid progenitor cells. CD137 signaling leads to maintaining the survival of activated T cells and CD8+ memory T cells, and clonal expansion of T cells, but also to suppressing myelopoiesis and dendritic cell development. Triggered CD137 induces a cytokine release profile regulating peripheral monocyte survival. Soluble forms of CD137 may provide negative control mechanism for some immune responses.
