CD24 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry analysis of CD24 in HeLa cells. Samples were treated with PFA, permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked in 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), and incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114975) at a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C). Secondary staining was applied with mouse anti-beta tubulin; AlexaFluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red); AlexaFluor 88 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) and DAPI (blue) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C).

CD24 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of CD24 in PC12 cells (left lane: treated with blocking peptide). Samples were incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114975).

Target Information

CD24 is a two-chain glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, beginning with the bone marrow pro-B-cell compartment and continuing through mature, surface Ig positive B-cells. Plasma cell expression is very low or negative. CD24 is also expressed on the majority of B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs and B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. CD24 may play a role in regulation of B-cell proliferation and maturation, and control of autoimmunity.
