MA5-14433 targets CD3/CD20 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. CD3 (clone SP7) is a rabbit monoclonal IgG antibody. CD20 (clone L26) is an IgG2a mouse monoclonal antibody.
The MA5-14433 immunogen is synthetic 13-mer peptide corresponding to aa 156-168 of the epsilon chain of human CD3 protein; the CD20 immunogen is human tonsil B cells.
The CD3 antibody reacts with the intracytoplasmic portion of the CD3 antigen expressed by normal and neoplastic T-lymphocytes. It stains human T-lymphocytes in both cortex and medulla of the thymus and in peripheral lymphoid tissues. CD20 is a non-Ig differentiation antigen of B-lymphocytes and the expression of CD20 is restricted to normal and neoplastic B-lymphocytes, being absent from all other leukocytes and tissues. The CD3-CD20 cocktail reveals lymphoid architecture in neoplastic situations.
