CHD1 Antibody (A301-217A) in IP
Detection of human CHD1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CHD1 antibody (Product # A301-217A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. CHD1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-CHD1 antibody A301-218A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated CHD1, A301-218A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Target Information
CHD1 is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling factor, containing two tandem chromodomains. In human both chromodomains are essential for specific binding to histone H3, methylated at lysine 4. CHD1 belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and contains also one helicase ATP-binding domain and one helicase C-terminal domain. It may play an important role in gene regulation.
