CHDH Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of CHDH in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and CHDH polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100229) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

CHDH Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of CHDH in mouse liver tissue lysate (left lane: treated with blocking peptide). Samples were incubated with CHDH polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100229).

The protein encoded by this gene is a choline dehydrogenase that localizes to the mitochondrion. Variations in this gene can affect susceptibility to choline deficiency. A few transcript variants have been found for this gene, but the full-length nature of only one has been characterized to date.
