CHDH Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical analysis of CHDH in paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue. Samples were probed using a CHDH polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-50378) at a dilution of 1/20.

CHDH Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of Chdh was performed by loading (from left to right): 231 cell and mouse kidney tissue lysates (40µg) on to a 10% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a membrane and the membrane was probed with a Chdh antibody (Product # PA5-50378) at a 1/400 dilution for 20 seconds, followed by a secondary antibody at 1/8000.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a choline dehydrogenase that localizes to the mitochondrion. Variations in this gene can affect susceptibility to choline deficiency. A few transcript variants have been found for this gene, but the full-length nature of only one has been characterized to date.
