PA5-29876 targets Calcium binding protein P22 in IF, IHC (P), and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human, mouse and rat samples.
The PA5-29876 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 195 of Human Calcium binding protein P22.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene encodes a phosphoprotein that binds to the Na+/H+ exchanger NHE1. This protein serves as an essential cofactor which supports the physiological activity of NHE family members and may play a role in the mitogenic regulation of NHE1. The protein shares similarity with calcineurin B and calmodulin and it is also known to be an endogenous inhibitor of calcineurin activity.
