          CHRNB2 Antibody (PA5-119689) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of of CHRNB2 in SH-SY5Y cells (green). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 1% Blocker BSA for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with CHRNB2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-119689) at a dilution of 1:50 for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. Alexa Fluor 488 Goat anti-Rabbit IgG was used as the secondary antibody at 1:1,000 dilution. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Product Specific Information

Positive Control: Jurkat cell lysates, A549, SH-SY5Y, rat spinal cord tissue, mouse brain tissue.

Subcellular Location: Postsynaptic cell membrane, cell membrane.

          Target Information

Neuronal acetylcholine receptors are homo- or heteropentameric complexes composed of homologous alpha and beta subunits. They belong to a superfamily of ligand-gated ion channels which allow the flow of sodium and potassium across the plasma membrane in response to ligands such as acetylcholine and nicotine. This gene encodes one of several beta subunits. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal dominant nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy.
