CHST4 Antibody (PA5-48076) in WB
Western blot analysis of CHST4 in SW13 human adrenal cortex adenocarcinoma cell line. Samples were incubated in CHST4 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-48076) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Carbohydrate Sulfotransferase 4/CHST4 at approximately 42 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CHST4 is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) CHST1, rhCHST5, and rhCHST6 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes an N-acetylglucosamine 6-O sulfotransferase. The encoded enzyme transfers sulfate from 3'phosphoadenosine 5'phospho-sulfate to the 6-hydroxyl group of N-acetylglucosamine on glycoproteins. This protein is localized to the Golgi and is involved in the modification of glycan structures on ligands of the lymphocyte homing receptor L-selectin. Alternate splicing in the 5' UTR results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.
