The PA5-30694 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 234 and 475 of Human CNDP2.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
CNDP2, also known as tissue carnosinase and peptidase A (EC 22.214.171.124), is a nonspecific dipeptidase rather than a selective carnosinase (Teufel et al., 2003 [PubMed 12473676]).
