CTGF Antibody (PA5-142967) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of CTGF in NIH3T3 cells using CTGF Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142967). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL), showing cytoplasmic staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL).

Target Information
Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF), also called CCN2, is a member of the CCN family. CTGF is a secreted protein produced by umbilical veins and vascular endothelial cells. CTGF possesses an Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)-binding domain, a thrombospondin type 1 domain, and a cysteine knot region. CTGF plays important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes, induces angiogenesis, and promotes cell adhesion in fibroblasts, endothelial, and epithelial cells.
