CXCL1 Antibody — Figure 8 Fisetin reduces inflammation and expression of CXCLs in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. RAW 264.7 cells were pre-treated with LPS (100 ng/ml) for 2 h, followed by treatment with fisetin (15 or 30 u M) for another 24 h. (A) Flow cytometric analysis was used to quantify CD3-expressing cells. (B) CD3 expression levels were measured using western blot analysis. (C) Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis of pro-inflammatory cytokines as indicated. (D) CXCL-1, CXCL-2, CCL-3 and CXCR-2 expression levels were assessed using western blot analysis. PA1-29220 detects CXCL1 from rat and mouse samples.

Target Information

CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL3, also known respectively as GRO alpha, GRO beta (MIP-2 alpha) and GRO gamma (MIP-2 beta), are members of the CXC subfamily of chemokines. Mature CXCL1/2/3 proteins bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B and are potent neutrophil attractants and activators. In vitro, the processed forms GRO-alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73) and GRO-alpha(6-73) show a 30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
