CYP2W1 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
CYP2W1 is highly expressed in adrenal glands and is positively associated with the response to mitotane in adrenocortical carcinoma.
PA5-14900 was used in immunohistochemistry - paraffin section and western blot to discuss the role of cytochrome P450 2W1 in adrenocortical tumors
