Centrin 1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of Centrin 1 in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and Centrin 1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104315) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

Centrin 1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Centrin 1 in human kidney tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with Centrin 1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104315) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Centrin 1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of Centrin 1 in various samples (Lane 1: mouse brain treated with blocking peptide, Lane 2: mouse brain, Lane 3: mouse lung). Samples were incubated with Centrin 1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104315).

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene plays important roles in the determination of centrosome position and segregation, and in the process of microtubule severing. This protein is localized to the centrosome of interphase cells, and redistributes to the region of the spindle poles during mitosis, reflecting the dynamic behavior of the centrosome during the cell cycle.
