Centrin 1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of Centrin 1 was performed in A431 cells fixed in ice cold MeOH for 5 min. Green: Centrin 1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5 29986) diluted at 1:500. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.

Centrin 1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western Blot analysis of Centrin 1 was performed by separating 30 µg of various whole cell extracts by 15% SDS-PAGE. Proteins were transferred to a membrane and probed with a Centrin 1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-29986) at a dilution of 1:1,000.

Centrin 1 Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Immunoprecipitation of Centrin-1 protein from 293T whole cell extracts using 5 µg of Centrin-1 antibody [N1C3] (Product # PA5-29986). Western blot analysis was performed using Centrin-1 antibody [N1C3] (Product # PA5-29986) diluted at 1:500.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene plays important roles in the determination of centrosome position and segregation, and in the process of microtubule severing. This protein is localized to the centrosome of interphase cells, and redistributes to the region of the spindle poles during mitosis, reflecting the dynamic behavior of the centrosome during the cell cycle.
