PA1-9566 detects C3 alpha complement in human samples.
PA1-9566 has been successfully used in Western blot and ELISA procedures. By Western blot, PA1-9566 detects a 9 kDa protein representing C3 alpha complement., and two weaker bands with one at ~115 kDa (C3a) and the other at ~36-50 kDa (unknown or partial C3 cleavage).
PA1-9566 immunogen is human complement C3 peptide aa 678-692, part of C3a.
Store product at 4°C for one week, and -20°C for long-term.
Target Information
Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of complement system. Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection.
