Immunohistochemistry analysis of DBC1 in paraffin-embedded human rectal cancer. Samples were incubated with DBC1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-121069) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Target Information
DBC1 is located within a chromosomal region that shows loss of heterozygosity in some bladder cancers. It contains a 5' CpG island that may be a frequent target of hypermethylation, and it may undergo hypermethylation-based silencing in some bladder cancers.
