DYRK2 Antibody (PA5-99839) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of DYRK2 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with DYRK2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99839) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Target Information
DYRK2 (also known as dual-specificity tyrosine-(Y)-phosphorylation regulated kinase 2) belongs to a family of protein kinases whose members are presumed to be involved in cellular growth and/or development and is defined by structural similarity of their kinase domains and their capability to autophosphorylate on tyrosine residues. DYRK2 expressed in E. coli demonstrated tyrosine autophosphorylation and catalyzed phosphorylation of histones H3 and H2B in vitro. DYRK2 also regulates p53 to induce apoptosis in response to DNA damage.
