EAF2 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) — Immunohistochemical staining of EAF2 in human tonsil using an EAF2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-52557) shows strong nuclear positivity in germinal center cells.

EAF2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of EAF2 in control (vector only transfected HEK293T lysate) and EAF2 over-expression lysate (Co-expressed with a C-terminal myc-DDK tag (~3.1 kDa) in mammalian HEK293T cells). Samples were probed using a EAF2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-52557).

EAF2 Antibody — Relative expression in different tissues in IHC: Detection of differential expression levels of EAF2 demonstrates antibody specificity. Immunohistochemical analysis of EAF2 using anti-EAF2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-52557), shows significant staining of EAF2 in human tonsil and shows minimal or weak staining in human pancreas tissues. Target Information

EAF1 and EAF2 can form a complex with ELL that targets the ternary elongation complex of Pol II, stimulating the rate of elongation. In addition, EAF1 and EAF2 are important for the stability of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex, which transcriptionally activates certain genes by acetylation of Histones H4 and H2A. Both EAF1 and EAF2 are ubiquitously expressed members of the EAF family that colocalize with ELL to the the Cajal bodies and nuclear speckles. EAF1 contains a C-terminal region rich in aspartic acid, glutamic acid and serine residues. EAF2 is an androgen-response gene and can act as a potent apoptosis inducer.
