Immunofluorescent analysis of ECSIT showing staining in the cytoplasm and nucleus of Hela cells using an ECSIT polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-35160) followed by detection using a fluorescent conjugated secondary antibody (green). Cytoplasmic actin was stained with a fluorescent red phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37°C). Nuclei were stained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min).

Adapter protein of the Toll-like and IL-1 receptor signaling pathway that is involved in the activation of NF-kappa-B via MAP3K1. Promotes proteolytic activation of MAP3K1. Involved in the BMP signaling pathway. Required for normal embryonic development. Required for efficient assembly of mitochondrial NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
