EGR1 Antibody (PA5-80574) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of EGR1 in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and then incubated with EGR1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80574, 1:1,000)(Figure A) or EGR1 Polyclonal Antibody and antigen (Figure B) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.

This antibody has specificity for Human EGR1.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the EGR family of C2H2-type zinc-finger proteins. It is a nuclear protein and functions as a transcriptional regulator. The products of target genes it activates are required for differentitation and mitogenesis. Studies suggest this is a cancer suppresor gene.
