Endocan Antibody (PA5-47237) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of Endocan in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse embryo (13 d.p.c.). Samples were incubated with Endocan polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47237) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to the retina.

In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Endocan is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ESM1 gene. This gene encodes a secreted protein which is mainly expressed in the endothelial cells in human lung and kidney tissues. The expression of this gene is regulated by cytokines, suggesting that it may play a role in endothelium-dependent pathological disorders. The transcript contains multiple polyadenylation and mRNA instability signals. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
