Western blot analysis of EphA3 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with EphA3 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-109687) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

Target Information
EPHA3 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediated developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA3 encodes a protein that binds ephrin-A ligands and receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats. The ephrin receptors are divided into 2 groups based on the similarity of their extracellular domain sequences and their affinities for binding ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands. EPHA3 binds ephrin-A ligands.
