FH Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HeLa cells using FH antibody (Product # 11375-1-AP) at dilution of 1:0 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

FH Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human placenta tissue slide using 11375-1-AP (FH Antibody) at dilution of 1:50 (under 40x lens).

FH Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Human placenta tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 11375-1-AP (FH antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

FH Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — IP result of anti-FH (IP:11375-1-AP, 4ug; Detection:11375-1-AP 1:1000) with mouse liver tissue lysate 4000ug.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is an enzymatic component of the tricarboxylic acid cycle, or Krebs cycle, and catalyzes the formation of L-malate from fumarate. It exists in both a cytosolic form and an N-terminal extended form, differing only in the translation start site used. The N-terminal extended form is targeted to the mitochondrion, where the removal of the extension generates the same form as in the cytoplasm. It is similar to some thermostable class II fumarases and functions as a homotetramer. Mutations in this gene can cause fumarase deficiency and lead to progressive encephalopathy.
