FOXH1 Antibody (PA5-72644) in WB
Western blot analysis of FOXH1 in various lysates. Samples were incubated with FOXH1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-72644) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 20 µg per lane. Lane 1: Zebrafish lysate; Lane 2: ZF4 whole cell lysate. Predicted band size: 52 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

Target Information
FOXH1 is a member of the Forkhead-box (FOX) family of transcription factors and is the human homolog of Xenopus forkhead activin signal transducer-1. FOXH1 plays an important role in mediating TGF-beta/activin signals through its interaction with the SMAD2-SMAD4 complex. It is expressed primarily during early development and localizes in the cytoplasm until it forms a complex with the SMAD proteins at which time it translocates to the nucleus to positively or negatively affect gene expression.
