GABA Transporter 1 Antibody (BS-6617R) in IHC (P)
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded mouse brain; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 20min; Antibody incubation with GABA Transporter 1 Polyclonal Antibody (bs-6617R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary and DAB staining.

GAT-1 (SLC6A1) The protein encoded by SLC6A1 is a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) transporter that localizes to the plasma membrane. The encoded protein removes GABA from the synaptic cleft, restoring it to presynaptic terminals.
