          Product Specific Information

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

Positive Control - WB: human placenta issue, human PC-3 whole cell, human U-87MG whole cell, human HL-60 whole cell, human HepG2 whole cell, human A549 whole cell, human Caco-2 whole cell, human K562 whole cell, rat heart issue, mouse RAW2467 whole cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

          Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversion of sn-glycerol 3-phosphate to glycerone phosphate. The encoded protein is found in the cytoplasm, associated with the plasma membrane, where it binds the sodium channel, voltage-gated, type V, alpha subunit (SCN5A). Defects in this gene are a cause of Brugada syndrome type 2 (BRS2) as well as sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
