GPR183 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of GPR183 in A431 cells using GPR183 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142636). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL), showing membrane, cytoplasmic, and nuclear membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL).

GPR183 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — Flow Cytometry analysis of GPR183 in A431 cells (blue line) using GPR183 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142636). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.5% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (1 µg/mL). IgG control: Unimmunized goat IgG (black line) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.

Target Information

GPR183 was identified by the up-regulation of its expression upon Epstein-Barr virus infection of primary B lymphocytes. GPR183 is predicted to encode a G protein-coupled receptor that is most closely related to the thrombin receptor. Expression of this gene was detected in B-lymphocyte cell lines and lymphoid tissues but not in T-lymphocyte cell lines or peripheral blood T lymphocytes. The function of this gene is unknown.
