GPR19 is an orphan member of the G protein-coupled receptor family 1. It has been reported in human in regions overlapping with the dopamine D2 receptor expression in the brain and peripheral nervous system. ESTs have been isolated from human brain, nerve, and germ-cell tumor libraries.
