GRID1 Antibody (TA590502) in WB
Western blot analysis of HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Cat # PS100001, Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY GRID1 (Cat # RC224397, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and blotted with anti-GRID1(Cat # TA590502). Positive lysates [LY413698] (100 µg) and [LC413698] (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Target Information
GRID1 is a subunit of glutamate receptor channels. These channels mediate most of the fast excitatory synaptic transmission in the central nervous system and play key roles in synaptic plasticity. GRID1 is a receptor for glutamate. L-glutamate acts as an excitatory neurotransmitter at many synapses in the central nervous system. The postsynaptic actions of Glu are mediated by a variety of receptors that are named according to their selective agonists.
