HEXIM2 Antibody (A303-077A) in IP
Detection of human HEXIM2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-HEXIM2 antibody (Product # A303-077A) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. HEXIM2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-HEXIM2 antibody BL11152, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated HEXIM2, A303-077A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
Transcriptional regulator which functions as a general RNA polymerase II transcription inhibitor. In cooperation with 7SK snRNA sequesters P-TEFb in a large inactive 7SK snRNP complex preventing RNA polymerase II phosphorylation and subsequent transcriptional elongation.
