HGD Antibody (PA5-79360) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of HGD using anti-HGD antibody (Product # PA5-79360) . HGD was detected in a section of CACO-2 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 5μg/mL rabbit anti-HGD antibody (Product # PA5-79360) overnight at 4°C. Target Information
This gene encodes the enzyme homogentisate 1,2 dioxygenase. This enzyme is involved in the catabolism of the amino acids tyrosine and phenylalanine. Mutations in this gene are the cause of the autosomal recessive metabolism disorder alkaptonuria.
