HPRT1 Antibody (PA5-25909) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of HPRT1 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human liver tissue. Samples were incubated with HPRT1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-25909) followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

This antibody is predicted to react with hamster, mouse, porcine, non-human primate and rat based on sequence homology.
Target Information
The protein is a transferase, which catalyzes conversion of hypoxanthine to inosine monophosphate and guanine to guanosine monophosphate via transfer of the 5-phosphoribosyl group from 5-phosphoribosyl 1-pyrophosphate. This enzyme plays a central role in the generation of purine nucleotides through the purine salvage pathway.
