Western blot analysis of HRH3 in, Lane 1: human U-87MG whole cell lysates Lane 2: human SHG-44 whole cell lysates Lane 3: mouse RAW246.7 whole cell lysates . Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel) / 90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 50 µg of sample under reducing conditions. After Electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a Nitrocellulose membrane at 150mA for 50-90 minutes. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human U-87MG whole cell, human SHG-44 whole cell, mouse RAW2467 whole cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
H3 Histamine Receptor regulates the release of the neurotransmitters norepinephrine and somatostatin. In histamine-containing neurons of the brain, the H3 receptor acts as a presynaptic autoreceptor, while in nonhistamine-containing neurons, in both the central and peripheral nervous systems, it acts as a presynaptic heteroreceptor. Multiple isoforms of H3 receptors are produced by alternative splicing. Histamine H3 receptor has been reported primarily in brain. ESTs have been isolated from brain (normal and cancer), breast cancer, colon cancer, and retinoblastoma libraries.
