ICAM-2 Antibody (PA5-47939) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of ICAM-2 in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse ovary. Samples were incubated in ICAM-2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47939) using a dilution of 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained with the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).

In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human ICAM-2 and recombinant rat ICAM-1 and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) VCAM-1, rmICAM-5, and rmICAM-1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
ICAM-2 is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM) family. All ICAM proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and bind to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. ICAM-2 may play a role in lymphocyte recirculation by blocking LFA-1-dependent cell adhesion. It mediates adhesive interactions important for antigen-specific immune response, NK-cell mediated clearance, lymphocyte recirculation, and other cellular interactions important for immune response and surveillance. Several transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. Diseases associated with ICAM2 include Colon Carcinoma In Situ.
