IL15RA Antibody (PA5-47749) in Neu
Neutralization of IL15RA in CTLL-2 mouse cytotoxic T cell line. Samples were incubated in IL15RA polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47749). Recombinant Human IL-15 stimulates proliferation in the CTLL-2 mouse cytotoxic T cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Proliferation elicited by Recombinant Human IL-15 (0.8 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse IL-15 Rα Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody. The ND50 is typically 0.3-1.5 µg/mL.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL-15 R alpha is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhIL-2 R alpha, recombinant mouse (rm) IL-2 R beta, and rmIL-2 R gamma is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
Interleukin 15 (IL-15RA) is a cytokine receptor that specifically binds IL-15 with high affinity. IL-15 regulates T and natural killer cell activation and proliferation. The IL-15 and IL-2 receptors share two subunits, IL-2R beta and IL-2R gamma, and IL-15RA is structurally related to IL-2RA, an additional IL-2-specific alpha subunit necessary for high affinity IL-2 binding. Unlike IL-2RA, IL-15RA is capable of binding IL-15 with high affinity independent of the other subunits. IL-15RA is thought to enhance cell proliferation and expression of apoptosis inhibitor Bcl-xL and Bcl-2.
