In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-18 R beta (AcPL), recombinant human (rh) IL-18 R, rhIL-1 R1, rhIL-1 RII, and rhIL-1 Rrp2 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is an accessory subunit of the heterodimeric receptor for IL18. This protein enhances the IL18 binding activity of IL18R1 (IL1RRP), a ligand binding subunit of IL18 receptor. The coexpression of IL18R1 and this protein is required for the activation of NF-kappaB and MAPK8 (JNK) in response to IL18.
