IRF5 Antibody (A303-385A) in WB
Detection of mouse IRF5 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from mouse bone marrow dendritic cells (D; 50 and 15 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded). Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-IRF5 antibody (Product # A303-385A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 1 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. IRF5 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-IRF5 antibody A303-386A, which recognizes a disparate epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A) and 30 seconds (B).

Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the interferon regulatory factor (IRF) family, a group of transcription factors with diverse roles, including virus-mediated activation of interferon, and modulation of cell growth, differentiation, apoptosis, and immune system activity. Members of the IRF family are characterized by a conserved N-terminal DNA-binding domain containing tryptophan (W) repeats. Alternative splice variants encoding different isoforms exist.
