JNK2 Antibody (PA5-80796) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of JNK2 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with JNK2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80796, 1:1,000) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.

This antibody has specificity for Human JNK2/MAPK9.
Target Information
MAPK9 (JNK2) is a serine/threonine kinase which plays an important role in the MAPK pathway. JNK2 (p54a, SAPK1a), along with JNK1 and JNK3, is thought to play an important role in nuclear signal transduction through its environmental stress activation and subsequent phosphorylation of the nuclear transcription factor p53.
