KCC2 Antibody (PA5-25770) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of KCC2 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue. Samples were incubated with KCC2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-25770) followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
Mediates electroneutral potassium-chloride cotransport in mature neurons. Transport occurs under isotonic conditions, but is activated 20-fold by cell swelling. Important for Cl(-) homeostasis in neurons.
