PA5-29004 targets Ketohexokinase in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and mouse samples.
The PA5-29004 immunogen is recombinant protein fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 248 of Human Ketohexokinase.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene encodes ketohexokinase that catalyzes conversion of fructose to fructose-1-phosphate. The product of this gene is the first enzyme with a specialized pathway that catabolizes dietary fructose. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
