LDLRAP1 Antibody (PA1-9008) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of LDLRAP1 using LDLRAP1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA1-9008) in paraformaldehyde fixed U2OS cells, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton. Primary incubation 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (4 µg/mL), showing showing cytoplasmic and some nuclear staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (4 µg/mL).

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytosolic protein which contains a phosphotyrosine binding (PTD) domain. The PTD domain has been found to interact with the cytoplasmic tail of the LDL receptor. Mutations in this gene lead to LDL receptor malfunction and cause the disorder autosomal recessive hypercholesterolaemia.
