LIM1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of LIM1 in HepG2. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C) incubated with LIM1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106827) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 at a dilution of 1:600.

LIM1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded LIM1 in human heart tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with LIM1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106827) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

LIM1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of LIM1 in HeLa cell lysate (left lane: treated with blocking peptide). Samples were incubated with LIM1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106827).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of a large protein family which contains the LIM domain, a unique cysteine-rich zinc-binding domain. The encoded protein may function as a transcriptional regulator and be involved in control of differentiation and development of neural and lymphoid cells. A similar protein in mice is an essential regulator of the vertebrate head organizer.
