LINGO2 Antibody (MA5-24121) in WB
Western blot analysis of LINGO2 in SH‚SY5Y human neuroblastoma cell line. Samples were incubated in LINGO2 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-24121) using a dilution of 2 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for LINGO‚2 at approximately 75 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Target Information
Leucine-rich repeat and immunoglobulin-like domain-containing protein 2 (LINGO2) is a gene located on chromosome 9q34.3, encoding a transmembrane protein predominantly expressed in the central nervous system. Structurally, LINGO2 features leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domains and immunoglobulin-like domains, which are crucial for molecular interactions and signaling. Functionally, LINGO2 is involved in regulating neural growth and development, influencing processes such as axon guidance and synaptic plasticity. It modulates neurotransmitter receptor activity and intracellular signaling pathways essential for neural transmission, with implications for both normal cognitive function and neurological disorders. Altered expression of LINGO2 has been associated with movement disorders, as well as neurodegenerative conditions, suggesting its role in neural circuit integrity.
