Detection of human LRRFIP1 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and HEK293T (T; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-LRRFIP1 antibody (Product # A303-079A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 0.4 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. Target Information
Leucine-rich repeat FLI-I interacting protein 1 (LRRFIP1/FLAP-1) is a MyD88-interacting signal protein which mediates either induction or repression of TLR signaling. Flap-1 directly interacts with β-catenin and activates β-catenin-dependent transcription activity. Flap-1 or LRRFIP1 was also shown to bind the TNF- -308 promoter polymorphism site, suggesting its possible role in the regulation of TNF- production. FLAP-1 along with LRRFIP2 and FLIIH serve as a balance in coordinating inflammatory response after infection, and may act as a novel target in the control of agonist-induced TLR-mediated inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
