          GATA1 Antibody (MA5-15638) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence analysis of GATA1 was performed using log phase K-562 cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. The cells were labeled with GATA1 Monoclonal Antibody (4F5) (Product # MA5-15638) at 1:200 dilution in 0.1% BSA, incubated at 4 degree Celsius overnight and then with Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H+L), Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugate (Product # A28175) at a dilu... Product Specific Information

MA5-15638 targets GATA1 in indirect ELISA, IF, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.

The MA5-15638 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human GATA1 expressed in E. Coli.

MA5-15638 detects GATA1 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 42.7.

          Target Information

Transcriptional activator or repressor which probably serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development. It binds to DNA sites with the consensus sequence 5'-[AT]GATA[AG]-3' within regulatory regions of globin genes and of other genes expressed in erythroid cells.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
